I'm on my third career: 12 years with Chicago Title and Trust; 20 years as a headhunter in the Information Technology world; and now 11 years with MetLife. Married since 1969 to a girl my brother, Mike, set me up with. Two children (one of each), two granddaughters.Living in Lisle, still working, and likely to continue. (The facial hair in the picture is gone; so is much of the head hair.) |

Hello everyone. The ABC show Wonder Years did a great job depicting our generation as we grew up in a wonderful time. Wonderful friends. Wonderful neighbors. Wonderful families. Wonderful schoolmates. Wonder Years had a six year run and just about every episode brought back memories of that time in my life with many of you from South Shore and Horace Mann. But I have one complaint with the show. In what was the final show of the series and at the very end the adult voice of Kevin Arnold said something like, "Everyone's neighborhood is the best." But I know in my heart ours was the best-the absolute best. I'm sorry to see some familiar names who have passed before us. My thoughts and prayers are with them and their families. Best to everyone. Good health and happiness to you all. Love Chuck. |
